The Aviation Unit of the Danish Accident Investigation Board (AIB) was notified of the accident by the Hellenic Air and Rail Safety Investigation Authority (HARSIA) on 4-8-2026 at 06:47 hours (hrs).

The AIB appointed a non travelling expert to the HARSIA safety investigation because one of the fatally injured persons on board N511EV was a Danish citizen.
